The Sydney Blue Sox are excited to announce that longtime baseball fan and local businessman Adam Dobb is the license owner of the Sydney Blue Sox.

Speaking about the short-term goals of the Blue Sox, putting fans first is the key for Adam.

"I really want to be a part of the turnaround of Sydney," Adam said.

"Fan engagement is crucial to our development as an organisation, and we will focus on giving back to the fans as much as possible."

"We want to make this everyone's team, not just my team."

Following the announcement of the league's expansion plans prior to the 2017/18 ABL season, the Blue Sox have been working feverishly behind the scenes to secure an owner who is passionate, driven and hungry for success.

Adam is founder and director of Commworx. a locally-owned, onshore construction & telecommunications company based in Beresfield, a suburb in Newcastle.

A former state and Australian provincial baseball representative, Adam has more recently moved into giving back via coaching, winning a silver medal with the Central Coast Marlins at the 2016 Australian Little League Championship.

Stay tuned tomorrow as Andrew Reynolds of theabl.com.au sits down with Adam to discuss his vision for the Blue Sox, how important it is to have a winning product in Sydney and much more.
