ABLCS Game Three Findings
DRP hands down fines following extensive review

Following a comprehensive review of all incidents from game three of the Australian Baseball League (ABL) Championship Series, the ABL has handed down the following sanctions.

The Disciplinary Review Panel (DRP) reviewed all match referrals and video evidence and applied Fixed Financial Offences in line with the ABL's Disciplinary Protocols.

 

Adrian LAMB (Brisbane Bandits Coach)

Charge: Unreasonable/unnecessary contact with a player/person (first offence)

Penalty: $150 ($100 early guilty plea)

 

David NILSSON (Brisbane Bandits Manager)

Charge: Throwing of equipment (first offence)

Penalty: $100 ($50 early guilty plea)

 

Takahito MATSUDA (Umpire)

Charge: Unreasonable/unnecessary contact with a player/person (first offence)

Penalty: $150 ($100 early guilty plea)

 

Canberra Cavalry & Brisbane Bandits

Charge: Leaving position on the field to partake in a physical confrontation

Penalty: $1350 (27 x $50)

 

All charged parties have until Friday 9 March to lodge an early guilty plea, and have the opportunity to appeal their penalties.

The ABL will publish final penalties once finalised.
