SYDNEY - The Sydney Blue Sox are excited to welcome back right-handed pitcher Trevor Foss to the team. Foss played for the Blue Sox in the 2016/17 Australian Baseball League season in which he had a 3.57 ERA in 10 starts for the team.

Foss was also named the Delta Airlines Player of the Week for his Round Seven performance against the Perth Heat where he pitched six innings of shutout baseball which included seven strikeouts.

Foss was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the 2013 MLB Draft out of Texas A&M University. From 2013, Foss spent time in both the Angels and Cleveland Indians pipelines before joining the Blue Sox in 2016.

In 2017, Foss played for the Washington WildThings in the Frontier League where he posted a 3.06 ERA with 12 wins in 20 starts. Foss was also able to achieve four complete games with one shutout in an impressive campaign with the WildThings.

New Blue Sox Manager Tony Harris said, "I am excited to have Trevor Foss back as one of our key import arms. He provided the club quality innings last season as a starting pitcher and will continue to do so this year. A great guy and awesome competitor, I am looking forward to seeing him pitch and helping him evolve as one of our key components to our success this season."

The Sydney Blue Sox season is only three weeks away. Single game tickets and memberships are available now.
