Mike Brosseau joins the HEAT ranks for 2017/18 from the Tampa Bay Rays. The 23-year-old is coming off a successful season where he hit .321 with seven home runs and 42 RBIs in 99 games in Class-A ball.

Brosseau will look to add some much-needed pop to the HEAT lineup whilst providing cover in the infield.

Jake Turnbull returns to the HEAT after spending the last three years playing rookie-ball for Cincinnati. The 19-year-old first baseman last played for the HEAT in 2015/16 and adds both infield and catching cover following the losses of Brandon Dale, Derek Peterson and John Riley.
