The Brisbane Bandits have announced infielder T.J. Bennett will be part of their quest for a three-peat of Australian Baseball League crowns in 2017/18.

Bennett has played 33 regular season games for the Bandits across two stints in the ABL and was part of Brisbane's 2015/16 Championship winning team.

The 25-year-old hit .319 with eight home runs in 25 games during the 2015/16 season and made eight appearances for the Bandits last season, going 6-for-28.

During the most recent minor league season the left-handed hitter played across three levels, including six games for Triple-A Sacramento River Cats.

Bennett played 59 games during the 2017 MILB campaign, hitting .222 and blasting three home runs.

His return is a big boost for Brisbane as they chase an unprecedented third-consecutive ABL title.

The Bandits begin their campaign against Canberra Cavalry at home on November 16.
