A LETTER FROM THE CEO

Firstly, thank you to all the Sydney Blue Sox members, fans, supporters and sponsors for your commitment this past season. We are eagerly looking forward to next season and the potential new opportunities that it will bring.

On that note, I would like to announce the resignation of Jason 'Pops' Pospishil as the Team Manager for the 2017-2018 Sydney Blue Sox. Jason has been a great servant of the Sydney Blue Sox for 7 years and is now looking at concentrating on his current role as High Performance Manager for Baseball NSW as well as his young family. Handling the responsibilities of both roles has been extremely demanding and I respect Jason's continued commitment to the development of our up and coming NSW talent as well as our future Blue Sox players. Pops will still be involved with the Blue Sox given his role as Baseball NSW HP Manager and will continue to provide a wealth of experience to the program.

As a result, the Sydney Blue Sox organisation are currently canvassing potential candidates with the hope of having a commitment by the middle of June, 2017.

I would personally like to acknowledge Jason's contribution to the organisation and thank him for his professionalism and amazing work ethic these past seasons.

Yours in Baseball,

Mark Marino

CEO

Sydney Blue Sox
