SYDNEY, 1 February - Game one of the Australian Baseball League Preliminary Final presented by Fielder's Choice, scheduled for Friday night between the Sydney Blue Sox and the Alcohol. Think Again Perth Heat at Blacktown International Ballpark, has been postponed because of rain.

The game is rescheduled for 2:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon with gates opening at 1:30 p.m., with game two of the series taking place at the regularly-scheduled time of 7:30 p.m. with gates opening at 6:00 p.m. Tickets for Friday's game will only be valid for the rescheduled game at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow.

Furthermore, if tomorrow afternoon's game cannot be played prior to the 7:30 p.m. contest because of inclement weather, then the 7:30 game will serve as game one of the series. The Saturday afternoon game would be rescheduled to Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. and serve as game two of the series, with gates opening at 9:00 a.m. Game three (if necessary), will take place following the completion of game two. In that instance, tickets originally purchased for Friday's game would only be valid for Sunday morning's 10:00 a.m. contest.
